These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the website https://aecsnepal.com ("the Site") operated by Abroad Education Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. ("AECS", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About AECS
AECS is a Kathmandu-based test-preparation centre and education consultancy operating from Adwait Marga, Purano Buspark, Bagbazar, Kathmandu. We deliver coaching for the IELTS, PTE Academic, PTE Core and Duolingo English Test, handle direct exam booking at authorised partner centres, and provide counselling and university-application support for students applying to study abroad.
The Site is published to inform prospective students, alumni, parents and partners about our services. It is not a transactional platform — no payment is collected here.
2. Accuracy of information
Course details, pricing, exam fees, visa requirements, university information and statistics published on the Site are reviewed at each editorial pass and updated when AECS becomes aware of material change. However, exam authorities (British Council, IDP, Pearson VUE, Duolingo Testing) and the immigration bodies of destination countries change fees, formats and policy without notice.
Treat anything on the Site as a guide, not a guarantee. Before you commit to an exam booking, a course payment or a visa application, please confirm the current details directly with an AECS counsellor on WhatsApp, by phone, or in person at our Bagbazar centre.
3. Bookings and payments
No payment is collected on the Site. Bookings — for exams, for our coaching packages, or for any other AECS service — are confirmed through a counselling conversation followed by payment at our Bagbazar office, by direct bank transfer to an account disclosed in that conversation, or by any other channel we explicitly publish.
AECS will never request payment of fees through WhatsApp DMs, social-media DMs, email-attached invoices, or phone-number / UPI / wallet handles obtained from any party other than our own counsellor desk. If you receive a payment request that does not originate from an in-person AECS counsellor or our published office number, please contact us before acting on it.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, photographs, graphics, the AECS name and logo, our visual identity, the design and code of the Site itself, and any compilation of the foregoing — is the property of AECS or its licensors and is protected by Nepali and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.
You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial reference (e.g. saving the pricing table or the mock-test schedule for your own planning). You may not modify, redistribute, re-publish or use any content from the Site on another website, in a printed brochure, or in any commercial context, without our prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks referenced on the Site — including but not limited to IELTS, British Council, IDP, Pearson Test of English, PTE, Duolingo English Test and university names — remain the property of their respective owners. Their use on the Site is for identification only.
5. Code of conduct
When you interact with AECS — through the Site, by email, on WhatsApp, by phone, or in person — we expect respectful, honest communication. In return, you can expect the same from us. We will not tolerate abusive, threatening or discriminatory language directed at our counsellors, faculty or staff. We reserve the right to discontinue service to any individual who engages in such conduct.
Submissions to the Site's contact and booking forms must be your own, truthful information. Automated submissions, spam, attempts to bypass the form's anti-bot protections (honeypot, rate limiting), or use of the forms to send messages to anyone other than AECS, are prohibited.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site contains links to third-party websites — university pages, partner test-administrator pages (British Council, IDP, Pearson, Duolingo Testing), embassy and government pages, WhatsApp, Google Maps, and our social-media presence on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. AECS does not control these third-party sites and is not responsible for their content, their availability, their privacy practices, or any transactions you enter into through them.
7. Limitation of liability
The Site and the information on it are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Nepali law, AECS makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for purpose of any information on the Site.
AECS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including loss of opportunity, delayed visa decisions, exam outcomes, or any reliance you place on the Site's contents in lieu of confirming details with an AECS counsellor. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied with the Site is to stop using it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Nepali law.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
9. Changes to these Terms
AECS may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service mix, in applicable law, or in third-party services we depend on. The "Last updated" date below records the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not agree with a revision, please stop using the Site.
